Denied immunity, Canseco asks 100,000 readers to shush up

With the House Government Reform Committee’s hearings one day away, Jose Canseco was formally denied immunity from any charges that may result from his testimony. Canseco, whose book, “Juiced,” already went into great detail regarding his steroid abuse, now plans to take the Fifth instead of snitching on his fellow players, according to his attorney, Robert Saunooke.

Saunooke was angered by the committee’s decision. “It begs the question as to what they’re convening this hearing for,” he said in a statement picked up by the AP, Reuters, CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX News, CNBC, C-SPAN, MSNBC, ESPN and the Food Network…
