PHOENIX, AZ — Former highest paid player in MLB and trick-or-treater hater Albert Belle was arrested for the second time in four months, as he was charged with a second stalking charge on Wednesday. Belle, who awaits his court date on previous charges of stalking his ex-girlfriend, was accused of making repeated phone calls to the woman. The hang-up calls were easily traced by police to Belle’s phone, leading them to believe Belle doesn’t watch many Hollywood movies.
Belle was arrested in February when a hidden GPS device fell off of his ex-girlfriend’s car. He had allegedly been showing up everywhere she would go, and had told her she had better hire a bodyguard. It is possible, however, that he was simply looking forward to fighting the bodyguard.
